We meet at the Over 60s Club, Priory Lane, Penwortham, Preston PR1 0AR.
We organise a monthly Sunday coach trip with four different grades of led walks to suit a range of ages and abilities. Our coach destinations include The Lake District, Yorkshire Dales and other scenic areas. We also provide local walks travelling by car. The next coach trip should be at the top of the list below, followed by upcoming local walks and historic walks, both in reverse date order
25/10/2026 Sunday Car - Chipping

C Walk - Chipping with Katie Clenshaw
6.5 miles / 10.4 km with 500 ft / 150 m Total Ascent
Meet at Chipping Car Park (Sat Nav: PR3 2QH), ready for the usual start time 10:30am.
We head south out of Chipping along the Ribble Valley Jubilee Trail as far as Pale Farm, then north east passing Gibbon Bridge and GreenLands Farm before turning north past Townley House to Knot Hill. From here we return to Chipping via Laund Farm and Birchen Lee.
21/10/2026 Stroller - Cottam and Haslam Park

2.5 miles with little climbing
Each Mid-Week Stroller walk has a destination providing a venue for drinks /
snacks / meals etc.
We meet at the UCLAN Sports centre, off Benson way (PR2 1SG). Parking at car park 2, second turning on the right (main car park will be busy). Then meet up for the start of the walk near the toilet block by the Final Whistle café.
Then after at the Ancient Oak Inn, Merrytrees lane Cottam (PR4 0NZ).
This is a fairly level walk about 2.5mls long, on good paths, between sports pitches, via the triple locks basin, and tow path to Haslam park. Look out for parakeets, various wildlife and a plant nursery. Then back to our starting point.
