Direction to meeting point; Approaching Galgate from the south, at the traffic light, turn left into Salford Road. Continue under the viaduct where the road becomes Highland Brow. Oak Avenue/Beech Avenue will soon appear on the left.
From Galgate we head to Condor Green, then along the old railway path to Glasson. We pass the marina which leads to the towpath of the Glasson Branch of the Lancaster canal leading us back to Galgate alongside the meandering River Condor.
