Meet at Civic Hall, Longridge (Sat Nav: PR3 3HJ), ready for the usual start time 10:30am.
Leaving the car park we pass through the John Smiths park to enter fields and a climb to Forty Acres Lane. Passing a small reservoir and Ribble Heights we drop down to Written Stone Farm. From here we cross the Knowle Green road to enter a wooded hamlet, complete with a stream running through it. Onto Buckley Gate we take a good path to the Corporation Arms ,a little road walking before turning to climb a path and eventually to the car park.
